Thanks to the many pilots who volunteer their time and hard work to maintain our flying sites! The WCSC board would like to encourage volunteers to claim financial expenses according to the policy outlined below. This is an initial policy that may be revised depending on the amount of money being spent, club budget etc. Expenses will be published on the forum.
Up to $250 will be refunded without prior approval. Projects exceeding this amount need prior approval by the board of directors. An itemized list of expenses and/or available receipts should be submitted together with a short description of the work (where/what/when).
Eligible expenses for example:
- Tool rental
- Gas for tools
- Gas for vehicles during the work party
- Replacement of broken tools
- A reasonable amount for lunch (No more than one alcoholic beverage per person)
