Welcome to the WCSC forum!

To post new messages, or reply to existing ones, you will need to register as a forum user. You do not need to become a West Coast Soaring Club member in order to do this. There is no cost involved, and no "spam" will ever come your way. However, it protects our web site from unauthorized access, forum-spam, and potentially inappropriate posts.

Automatic registration has been disabled on this forum due to rampant spamming and bogus users. To register, simply send an email to the webmaster (admin@westcoastsoaringclub.com) with your real name, this will be used for your forum username (NOTE 07/11/2018: from now on we like to keep user names as real names). If you think you may already have registered at some point in the past, but have forgotten your username or password, please mention it. The webmaster will create your forum user account, and email you with the password. You can then customize your profile as you like, changing your password, adding an avatar, and changing other settings.

There are many benefits to registering as a user on the forum. First, the system can automatically remember who you are, and what messages you've read. You can edit, and even delete your own posts. You'll also be able to upload images to the For Sale forum, or the Flight Log forums.

Now, you can also use the "Private Messaging" function of the forum to send a private message to another specific forum user. When that person next checks the forum, they will receive a message that there is a private message waiting in their "inbox". Also added is that ability to use an "avatar", which is a small picture or image that is displayed alongside each of your posts.

Again, you do not have to be a club member to register, and nothing will ever be done with any information you submit, other than verifying you on this message board.
