Thanks for all the input! I think I might start with Garmin's 19.95 p/month Safety "Freedom" plan (rock bottom) and see how it goes ... can always upgrade if I find my usage needs are greater than I think.

That's a great question. The answer is a little bit complicated ... The thing about being a "Guest" is that you have to go up with a "Full" member (for the first season). The lift tickets are only issued for one ride. If we do multiple flights in a day, we have to log in at Guest...

The cost of becoming a a GMFT Guest Member is only $20 - for the entire season! That gets you lift access to the Peak via tram and chairlift. Less than half the price of one Skyride ticket for the usual tourist; and that money goes to the District of North Van for rental of the landing field. Bill N.
