As of this posting, it appears that
HPAC insurance (annual or temporary) is required for
ALL pilots flying in Canada. This includes American
and foreign pilots. Your USHGA insurance does
NOT cover your flying in Canada. Be prepared
to show proof of current HPAC insurance, or to purchase
either an annual HPAC membership, or a 90-day temporary
one at the BFAR. You can also purchase your
HPAC membership online directly. See the HPAC
website for more details.
